Welcome to Mo-Jo Kennels! We are breeders and exhibitors of
miniature dachshunds since 1996. We recently have also fallen head
over heels for our French Bulldogs... and have been working on
creating some beautiful foundations for our Frenchie Family!
We raise all 3 coats in dachshunds and a variety of colors and
patterns. Our goal is...and always has been, to produce the finest
pups, that excel in not only the show ring...but above and beyond all,
that make outstanding companions. Temperament is of utmost
importance in our breeding program. We prefer a more laid back and
easy going personality in our dogs. This makes our babies well suited
for living in just about any enviornment...from the hustle and bustle of
a big city...to the quite rolling hills of the countryside.
Our home is nestled high atop a hill in the picturesque Catskill
Mountain region of New York. With over 20 acres to explore, romp and
play on...our guys and gals spend their warm days of spring, summer
and fall chasing butterflies and sunning themselves in the yard. In the
winter, while they do enjoy their romps through the snow...they are
perfectly content curled up in someones lap, or chasing our children
(the 2 legged kind...lol) around the house. All of our dogs, get hands
on care and personal attention everyday. We feel this is essential to
having a happy, well adjusted member of the family.
Since our new addition to our 2 legged family...we have limited our
breedings quite a bit. So, much consideration, many hours of
researching and careful planning go into all of our litters. Our babies
are raised and spoiled in our home with lots of hugs and kisses from
the time they are born to the time they are ready to move onto their
new homes. Before they leave they are all vet checked, vaccinated and
wormed according to age. Registration papers, a written health
guarantee, and a puppy kit (containing samples of food,vitamins and a
toy or blankie) accompany every one of our babies to their new home.
We offer lifetime support as well as a lifetime "no questions asked"
return policy.
We are very selective in the homes we choose for our new babies and
screen potential buyers very carefully. We feel it is our responsibility to
help match the right puppy to the right home.
